Drama – Sec 1
The Secondary 1 Drama course is designed to be an introduction to the various aspects of the Dramatic Arts. Students will develop confidence in public speaking and performance and will go through the experience of writing a script and performing a play.
Drama – Sec 2
This course will examine the many aspects of dramatic arts, which will aid in the improvement of communication skills, help develop problem solving skills within group settings, build self-confidence, help to develop an appreciation of dramatic works and learn to cooperate with others in teams.
Drama – Sec 3 – 4
Drama involves creating performances of action with characters, using elements of stage and following theatre conventions which will vary through four main focuses: playwriting, performance, stage directing and audience reception.
