Between May 14-24th, select Grade 7 English classes worked on creating Stop Motion Animation videos with the help of plasticine, creativity, and Montreal artist, Erik Goulet. RWA would like to congratulate our colleague Mr. Jamal Zigby for his 25 years of dedicated service to the EMSB and Royal West Academy. Jamal was honored in a ceremony recently by the EMSB.

Two RWA teams participated in the Let’s Talk Science Competition hosted at McGill as part of a science enrichment program. One of our teams took first place with their project entitled The Bioluminescent Cells. Congratulations to Omar Aly, Zach C., Paige F., Bella F., and Seraphina Q.

The RWA Battle of the Books team emerged as the winners after a nail-biting tie with Vincent Massey at the EMSB Board Battle. It took 4 rounds of tie breaking questions, but RWA took home the banner!
