EMSB Chorale: Where Choir and Symphony Became One

The English Montreal School Board has announced that Kindergarten Registration Week (for four and five year olds) for the 2026-2027 academic year will take place from Monday, February 2 to Friday, February 6. If one child from a family is already enrolled in a particular school, a sibling registration period will take place a week earlier.

Two EMSB teachers win Prime Minister’s Awards
Pierre Elliott Trudeau Elementary School in Rosemount-Petite-Patrie Music teacher Arianne Asly-Verdon and John Caboto Academy in Ahuntsic Math, English, Citizenship, and Quebec Culture Jennifer De Leeuw have been awarded with a Regional Certificates of Achievement for the 2025 Prime Minister's Award (PMA) for Teaching Excellence.

Federation CJA renews EMSB Holocaust Education Program Funding
The English Montreal School Board, Quebec’s largest English public school board, will be able to continue and enhance its Holocaust Education Program thanks to the renewal of a special grant from Federation CJA. This year’s activities formally kicked off on Monday, November 24 when students from John F. Kennedy High School in St. Michel visited the Montreal Holocaust Museum.
