The regional science fair was held March 25-26. Royal West students did us proud earning quite a few distinctions:
- Jacob F. and Noah V. received a Great Distinction certificate and a McGill University – Faculty of Science – Geography Award
- Cassidy E. and Lauren E. received a Highest Distinction
- Certificate and Hydro-Quebec Energy Award
- Regan F. and Mathilda K. received a Distinction Certificate
- Sophie I. and Jake G. received a Distinction certificate and a McGill University – Faculty of Science – Chemistry Award
- Abby I. and Beatrice R. received a Distinction certificate
- Sae Ah P. and Sumin W. received a Great Distinction certificate and a McGill University – Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Science, School of Human Nutrition Award
- Eolande M. and Rebecca O. received a Great Distinction certificate and a McGill University – Department of Mining & Materials Engineering – Materials Engineering Award
- Anubhab B. and Srijith K. received a Highest Distinction certificate and a McGill University – Department of Civil Engineering Award, a McGill University – Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering Award, in addition to this they received the Super expo-Science Hydro Quebec (SESHQ) Participation award and moved on to the provincial competition.
- Srijith K. and Anubhab B. received the Minister of Transport and Sustainability award at the Provincial Science Fair at the Cegep du Vieux Montréal. They received a prize of $1500.
- Also noteworthy, Rahul Patel, an RWA alumni from last year won a Silver Medal among other awards!
