Royal West Academy is one of the most prestigious public high schools in Montreal, with a long and noteworthy history behind it. It’s only fitting that, on the 70th anniversary of the school, we take a look back at some of this history

Royal West Academy is an alternative high school with a limited enrollment. Its mission is to provide a structured milieu in which students are committed to academic achievement, bilingualism, computer literacy, an appreciation of the arts, an understanding of social issues and a sense of community responsibilities.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Extra-curricular activities are an integral part of Royal West Academy’s program. Students are required to participate in 3 out of 4 different types of activities (cultural, sport, community service and environmental). Activities may transpire before school, at lunchtime, or after school.
