RWA Home & School Association
What do we do?
The Royal West Academy Home & School Association has traditionally ranked highest in Quebec for parent support.
As volunteers, we work in concert with teachers and the administration to best support the students while they are here at RWA. We support the school community in several activities.
- We operate the school store so that the students can readily buy their needed school supplies and uniform needs. The store is open daily during the lunch hour (12:25 -1:15pm).
- We help operate and fund the library and computer labs.
- We provide refreshments during the Science Fair and Teacher Appreciation Week.
- We bake, sew for, and support our school teams and honour band.
- We come in and paint when funds do not allow the school board to provide such services.
- We organize Used Uniform Sales so families can purchase uniform pieces in June and August (based on inventory available).
- All proceeds allow us to help with the financing of much needed enrichment within the school, scholarships and bursaries to deserving students, etc.
How to get involved
- Contact us and let us know what you are interested in doing. Please complete the volunteer form and you will be contacted as the needs arise. Parent Volunteer Form
- Come to a meeting, currently held conveniently on Zoom – Dates & Links on the school calendar
- Become a Home & School member by completing the application form. This allows you to have a voice within the decision making process of school related topics and keep in touch with the provincial office that is closely linked with the government and other educational organizations. 2024-25 RWAHSA Membership form

The Meetings
Come and make a difference in your child’s school life. RWA Home & school meetup on average 7 times during a school year where we discuss things like school uniform sales, school store and events that we assist in. The meeting generally last about an hour and are held virtually on Zoom. Check the school calendar on the RWA website regularly for all updates.

Lost and Found
LOST AND FOUND POLICY:
Please be advised that the Lost and Found boxes are cleaned out on the 15th of each month. While labeled items are returned to their owners, several bags of unclaimed unlabeled items are removed and donated to charity every month. So if you are looking for lost items, make sure to look for them before the 15th or better yet, label them so you’ll be sure to get them back if found !
The Lost and Found bins are located in three areas at Royal West Academy:
- outside the new gym
- outside the main office (across from room 208)
- smaller items and valuables can be found in the main office

In the meantime, PLEASE label all your belongings (uniforms, shoes, outerwear, lunch boxes, books etc..)
