Peer Tutoring Program
RWA peer tutoring program pairs students from upper grades with younger peers to provide academic support and mentorship. The tutor works one-on-one to help them improve their understanding of subjects, complete homework, or prepare for exams. Sessions may occur in the morning before school, during lunch or afterschool, and the cost is $15/hour which is paid directly to the tutor. Students in grade 9-10-11 can apply to be tutors. The program encourages collaboration, strengthens academic understanding, and creates a supportive school community. For tutors, it develops interpersonal skills, while tutees gain confidence, personalized assistance, and a connection with more experienced peers.
Peer tutoring benefits everyone involved, creating a win-win environment for academic and personal success.
